Raag Mali Gauraa – Bhagat Namdev Ji.

Bhagat Ji sees God in every being, whether moving or stationary. God is Present everywhere, “Nirgunn Aap Sargunn bho Ohee.” (Ang 287. Pada 8 Astpadhi 18).

Within all hearts, it is the Lord who speaks, the All Pervading One speaks; who else speaks, other than the Lord?

“Sabhe ghat Raam bolhe Rama bolhe; Raam bina ko bolhe re.” (rahao).

Out of the same clay, the elephant and the ant and many species are formed; in stationary life forms, moving beings, moths, worms and in each and every heart, the Lord is latent.

“Ekall maati kunjar chitee bhaajan hai baho nana re; asthaavar jangam keet patangam ghat ghat Raam samaana re.”

Remember the One , Infinite Lord and abandon all other hopes; Nama declares, I have become desireless, who is the Master and who is the slave?

“Ekall chinta raakh Ananta aur tajho sabh aasa re; pravhe Nama bhaye nihkaama ko Thakur ko daasa re.”

(I have translated “nihkaama” as desireless. Kaam means lust. Kaamni can mean desires, wishes, thus, with respect I say here, nihkaama means desireless).
