Raag Sri Raag Ki Vaar M.4.

This is the 1st pauri of Sri Raag Ki Vaar M.4. Guru Ji describes God as being present in all creation. The word kudrat can mean Nature, Power, or all Creation, depending on the context.

In the 2nd half of the pauri Guru Ji advises how one can be a good Muslim.

He created all nature and resides within; one who reflects upon (the value) of his allotted span of life, becomes a true slave of the Lord.

“Kudrat kar ke vasseya soye; vakat vicharey so banda hoye.” (it is the belief amongst Muslims, that you are a true banda if you follow Sharia strictly).

The value of the Creative Power of the Lord cannot be known; even if one happened to know it’s value, it could never be described.

“Kudrat hai keemat nahi paaye; ja keemat paaye ta kahi na jaaye.”

Some think of religious disciplines (Sharia law); but without enlightenment, how can they cross over to the other side?.

“Sarey Shariat kare bichar; bin bujjay kaise paave paar.”

Let sincere faith be your bowing in prayer, and the conquest of your mind should be your goal in life; and wherever I look I should see God’s Presence.

“Sidak kar sijda mann kar maksood; jeh dhir dekha teh dhir maujood.”
