Raag Sorath – Raag Sorath Ki Vaar M.4.

A short but extremely complex Slok by Guru Angad Dev Ji.

Guru Ji says that we eat what is destined for us. This is an absolute truth.

“Jaha danay taha khanay Nanaka Sach he”

Often we make plans to eat at a particular place. For some reason the plans fail and we eat at a different place. His Will is operating.
There will be many times we operate in our egos and decide to eat at a particular place. Often times we grab and eat what belongs to others. All these actions in ego bring karmic baggage. It is best to surrender to His Will. As you surrender and accept His Will the truth of this Shabad will sahaj subhai flash upon you.

The first line is equally tough to comprehend, but Guru Ji speaks the Absolute Truth.

We have an unseen string through our nose. The String of His Hukam. This is pulled by Him. From the rear our past actions drive us.

“Nak nath Khasam Hath kirat dhakey de”.
