Raag Gauree Bhagat Kabeer (Kabir) Ji.

Bhagat Ji describes the blessed lives of those who commit themselves to Naam.

I am a sacrifice unto those humble beings who recite the Name of their Master.

“Jo jan leh Khasam ka Naao; tin ke sadh balihare jaao.”

One who sings the Praises of the Pure Lord, becomes purified himself; such a brother is very dear to my heart.

“So nirmal Nirmal Har Gunn gaavhe; so bhai mere mann bhaave.” (rahao).

I am the dust of the lotus feet (blessed feet) of those whose hearts are filled with the All Pervading Lord.

“Jeh ghat Raam rehiya bharpur; tin ki pagg pankaj ham dhurr.”

I am of the weaver caste by birth (but), I have been blessed with patient faith; lovingly and peacefully I recite the Attributes/Glories (Naam) of the Lord.

“Jaat julaha matt ka dheer; sahaj sahaj gunn ravhe Kabir.”
