Raag Sorath M.5.

A Sikh pleads with the God. I am filthy. You are Pure. I am without merits. You are the Great Giver.

“Ham mailay tum ujjal karte ham nirgun tu dataa”

I am foolish. You are Wise and Know All Things.

“Ham murakh tum chatur sianey tu sarab kalaa ka gyataa”

O Lord I am like this (worthless) and You are like That.(Perfect).

“Madho ham aisay tum aisaa”

I am a sinner. You Destroy sins. Your Abode is Beautiful O Lord and Master.

“Ham pappi tum paap khandan niko Thakur Desa” (rahao).

The final line is a prayer for Salvation. I have taken to the Path of the Saints (Guru). Please save me.

“Kaho Nanak ham eihay havalaa rakh Santan ke pachey”.

The entire Shabad is really an ardas by a Sikh in utter humility admitting all His faults whilst acknowledging the Greatness and Sovereignty of Nirankar Ji.

Bhai Ji further elaborated on June 17, 2026:

You need several listenings (Shabad Kirtan), and readings of the Shabad before it settles within you.

Guru Ji describes a Sikh who is “maila,” filthy from karmic dirt, a result of haumai and dabbling in maya.

Only Niranjan Rameiya, who is Nirankar can erase all dirt and weight of all lekhas.
