Raag Kanrah M.5.

A Sikh hopes the Saints will visit his home. On a different plane, it also means the Sikh prays the Saintly Shabad Guru will abide in his heart.

O Saints, Friends come to me.

“Sajna Sant aao mere” (rahao).

Let us sing joyously the Praises of the Lord and sins will be erased and thrown away.

“Ananda gunn gavho mangal kalmala mitt jahe preray”

Touch your forehead to the Feet of the Saints (Bani, Shabad), and your dark household will be lighted up.

“Sant Charan dharo mathey chandna greh hoye ghanerey”

With the Grace of the Saints (Guru), the heart lotus shall blossom forth and as you meditate upon the Lord, you shall see Him near at hand.

“Sant Parsad kamal bigsay Gobind bhajo pekh neray”

By God’s Grace I have found (merged) the Saints (Shabad Guru), again and again I am eternally grateful for that blessed moment.

“Prabh kirpa te Sant paaye vaar vaar Nanak oh berey.”
