A Sikh is overawed with the Lord’s Glory. He sings Praises of God.

When I forget You, Lord, everyone seems my enemy. When I lovingly remember You, I find others serving me; I do not pay allegiance to any other O True, Invisible, Mysterious Lord.

“Tu visray ta sabh ko laagu chit aave ta sewa; avar na kouu dujja sujjay Sache Alakh Abheva.”

When I remember You lovingly, You are always Merciful to me; what can mere mortals do to me?; whom can I say is good or bad, since all beings are Yours.

“Cheet aave ta sada Dyala loghan kya vechare; bura bhalla kaho kis nu kehiye sagley jee Tumare.”(rahao).

You are my Shelter and Support; Your Protective Hands save me; that humble being upon whom You bestow Your grace, is not touched by any slander or suffering.

“Teri tek Tera bharvasa haath de Tu rakhe; jis jann upar Teri kirpa tis ko bipp na kouu bhaakhe.”

Only that is True joy and glory which is Pleasing to Your Mind, Lord; You are All Knowing and forever Compassionate; As I get blessed with Your Name I experience joy.

“Oho sukh oha vadiaaye jo Prabh Ji mann bhaani; Tu Dana Tu sadh Meharvana Naam milhe rang maani.”

I offer my prayer to You, my body and soul are Yours; Nanak says, all Glory belongs to You. No one even knows my name  (i.e. I lay no claim to any Glory. It is all Yours).

“Tudh aage ardas hamari jio pind sabh Tera; kaho Nanak sabh Teri vadiayee ko naao na jaane mera.”

A Sikh expresses his experiences. Remembrance of the Lord always brings blessings into his life.

Lord, whenever I forget You, everyone I meet turns against me. It is most distressing. When I do remember You with Love, all rush to serve me.
“Tu visre ta sabh ko laagu cheet aavhe ta sewa.”

I cannot think of any other person who can do all this (have this effect). Lord, You are indeed True, Beyond Description, and Mysterious.
“Avar na dujja sujhe Sache Alakh Abheva.”
