Gurbani tells us
“Koye na jaane Tera Keta Kewad Cheera.”
No one knows the vastness of Your Expanse.

Gurbani also tells us we have wandered about in many forms and after a long time, we were blessed to have a human body.
“Chirankaal eh deh sanjariya.” (Ang 176).

This human body is a chance to Unite with God and be spared from further avaa gavan.
“Mil Jagdees Milan ki bariya.” (Ang 176).

A light year is the distance light can travel in one year i.e. 5880 000 000 000 miles.

It would be impossible to view the vastness of the Universe by physical means. In any event, the nether limits can never be known as Gurbani says,
“Antt na jappe kita akaar; Antt na jappe paravar; Antt karan kette billahe ta ke Antt na paaye jaye.” (Japji Sahib).

The human body is a marvel of Divine construction. It contains everything.
“Mere Karte eh banatt banaayi; es dehi vich sabh vath paayi.” (Ang 1063).

If you take to Naam, with the Guru’s Grace, you can see the entire Universe within yourself.
“Chaudhe bhavan Tere hattnale; Satgur dikhaye antar naale.” (Ang 1062).

To go towards Union, you have to dedicate your life to His Search.
Bhagat Ravidas Ji says, I was separated from You for many lives, Lord. I pledge my life to You and pray for Union/Darshan.
“Bahut janam bichre thay Madho eh janam Tumare lekhe.”

Absorb Guru’s Bani within your being.

Realisation will set in as to how insignificant we are in the entire Scheme of Things and how our inflated egos delude us. How petty our grudges are, being judgmental and indulging in slander is poisonous.

The only way to Meet Him is to continuously Sing His Praises, Accept His Bhana, and to sincerely engage in Prema Bhagti.
