Desert Plant.

We have an Awesome God!

In His Majesty, He has created all things bright and beautiful – even the Rose of Jericho.

“Rangi Rangi Bhaanti Kar Kar Jinsi Maya Jin Upayee.”

He Continuously Creates the countless colors of maya and all species. (Japji Sahib).

Gurbani says we are supposed to look at Nature and relate it to ourselves.

“Nanak Sach Dataar Sinakhat Kudrati.” (Ang 141).

The True Nature of God can be seen from all that He has Created.

Thus, in this case, apart from marvelling at God’s Awesome Creative Potency, we should realise that no matter how dry and parched you may be from goodness, if you take to Naam, you can be rendered lush and green again.

We read daily in Rehras Sahib…

“Gur Parsad Param Padh Paaiya Sukhe Kasstt Hareiya.”

By Guru’s Grace the dry withered heart of the mortal becomes green and rises to the Greatest Spiritual Height.
