SGGS Ji Ang 720 – M.4.

Gurbani says so long as you are Singing His Praises, you should not bother about others who criticize you or slander you for doing so.

There will even be some who tell you all prayers are a waste of time. Guru Ji says you must disregard such slander and never deviate from Singing Praises of God.

“Har jan Raam Naam Gunn Gaavhe; Je koyi nindh kare Har jan apna Gunn na gavavhe.”

The Sikh must realise that even such slander and blockages are part of His Play. He Himself gives wisdom and He Himself causes others to speak insipid.

“Jo kich kare so Aape Suami Har Aape kaar kamaavhe; Har Aape hi matt devhe Suami Har Aape bolh bolavhe.”

It is the Lord who has created the Expanse of the world with five elements. He Himself has infused the five senses in mortals. There however comes a time, in His Grace, He Unites you with the Satguru (Shabad), and removes all obstacles, burdens, and disputes.

“Har Aape panch tatt bistara vich dhaatu panch Aap paavhe; jan Nanak Satgur melhe Aape Har Aape chagarh chukavhe.”
