Raag Dhanaasree (Dhanasree) M.5.

Guru Ji speaks about God’s nature – His birdh and the joys enjoyed by His Saints. God is Destroyer of fear, Remover of suffering, Master, Loves His Saints and is Formless.

“Bhav Khandan Dukh Bhanjan Suami Bhagat Vashall Nirankarey”

As the gurmukh cherishes Naam, millions of his sins are eradicated in an instant.

“Kot pradh mitay khin bhittar ja gurmukh Naam samarey”

In the rahao, a Sikh says my mind is attached to the Beloved Lord; the Lord, Merciful to the weak, granted His Grace and placed the five enemies under my control.

“Mera man lagaa hai Ram pyare; Deen Dyal kari Prabh kirpa vass kinay panch dutarey” (rahao).

Lord, Your Place is so beautiful, Your Form (Jote) is beautiful and the Saints look so beautiful adorning Your Court. O Lord of all beings, grant me Your Grace and save me.

“Tera Thaan Suhava, Roop Suhava Tere Bhagat Sohay Darbarey; Sarab jia ke Datey Suami kar kirpa leho ubarey”

Your Colour cannot be described, You Form is beyond words, who can contemplate Your Creative Power?; You are contained in water, land and sky, in every space; O Unfathomable Lord, it is You who prop up the mountains.

“Tera varan na japay roop na lakhiye Teri Kudrat kaun bicharey; jal thall mahiall reviya sarab thaaiye aggam roop Girdharey”

All humble beings sing Your Praises, You are the Imperishable, Destroyer of ego; as it Pleases You, protect me; in humility I have come to Your Sanctuary.

“Kirat kare sagal jan Teri Tu Abhinasi Purakh Murarey; jio bhave tio rakho Suami jan Nanak Sharan Duarey”
