Guru Ji describes the Sunn Samadh avastha. At Angg 893, Guru Ji says.

“Sunn Samadh gufa teh aasan; keval Brahm Puran teh bassan; Bhagat sang Prabh gosht karatt; teh harakh neh sogh neh janam neh marat.”

In the cave of Profound Silence, (Daswa Dwar), they respectfully sit; the One Unique Perfect Lord dwells there; He holds conversations with His Saints; there is no pleasure or sorrow, nor births or deaths (at that Plane/Dimension/Avastha).

In this Shabad, Guru Ji says His Mansions are so comfortable, and the Gates are so lofty; within them, His blessed Saints dwell.

“Sukh Mahal ja ke Uchh Duarey; ta meh vassey Bhagat Pyarey.”

The Natural Revelations by God are so very sweet; how rare are those persons who see this with their own eyes.

“Sahaj Katha Prabh ki att meethi; Virlay kahu netro deethi.” (rahao).

In the arena of congregation (of Saints), there are Divine Songs, and the Sound Current of the Naad; there, the Saints celebrate with the Lord.

“Teh geet naad akharey sanga; uhaa Sant kare Har ranga.”

There is neither birth nor death there, nor sorrow nor pleasure; there, showers of Eternal Truth (Naam) rain down.

“Teh maran na jeevan sogh na harkha; Sach Naam ki Amrit varkha.”

From the Guru I have come to know the Deep Mystery of this Story; Nanak Speaks the Bani of the Lord.

“Gohaj Katha eh Gur te jaani; Nanak bolay Har Har Bani.”
