A Sikh who has been blessed with deep understanding sings Praises of the Lord. Wherever I look, I see Him Present. He is never far away. He is pervading all, everywhere O my mind meditate upon Him forever.
“Jeh jeh pekho teh hajur duur katho na jaaiye; rev rehiya sarbatar me man sada dhiaaiye”
He is a True Friend who stays with you here and hereafter; that pleasure which passes away in an instant, is trivial.
“Eit utt nahi bichdey so sangi ganniye; binnas jaaiye jo nimakh me so alap sukh bhanniye” (rahao).
He cherishes us and gives us sustenance; He does not lack anything; with each and every breath my God takes care of all creation.
“Pritpalay apiaoo de kach uun na hoyee; saas saas samaalta mera Prabh soyee”
God is Undeceivable, Unpenetrable and Infinite; His form is lofty and exalted; reciting the Name of the Embodiment of Wonder, His servants are in bliss.
“Ashall Achedh Apaar Prabh uchaa ja ka Roop; jap jap kare anand jan achraj anoop”
Give me such understanding Lord that I may always adore You; Nanak begs God for the gift of the dust of the feet of the Saints.
“Sa mat deho Dyal Prabh jit tumhe aradha; Nanak mange daan Prabh rein pagh Sadha”
