This Shabad very often comes as Hukamnama of the Guru.

Guru Ji tells us that only in “Prabh ki Sharan” that all your fears will vanish and you will find “dukh binsay sukh paaya”. Among other things Guru Ji’s Hukam is a reminder that if you have taken any other Sharan, you should remove your tek from there, and rely only on Satguru Ji/Prabh Ji.

“Prabh ki sharan sagal bhai lathe dukh binsay sukh paaya.”

It is a sign of His Mercy upon you if you are committed to deep inner prayer to your Satguru.

“Dyal hova Parbrahm Suami Pura Satguru dhiaaya”

This should be your commitment and focus.

“Prabh jio tu mero Sahib Daata”

And your plea to God should be to infuse love in you to sing His Glorious Praises.

“Kar kirpa Prabh Deen Dyalaa gunn gavho rang raata” (rahao).

As you keep on singing His Praises, the Satguru implants His Naam within you and all your anxieties vanish.

“Satgur Naam nidhaan dhrirhaeya chinta saggal binasee.”

And now the Lord treats you as His very own and the Imperishable Lord now dwells in the mind.

“Kar kirpa apno kar leena man vaseya abhinasee.”

Infinite blessings flow from there on.
