Raag Gaund (Gond) Bhagat Kabeer (Kabir) Ji.

Bhagat Ji describes God’s Presence in all aspects of creation. Bhagat Ji poses three profound questions and gives answers.

1. Where does the soul come from, and where does it go?

2. Where did the creation of the five elements, fire, water, air, earth and space take place?

3. Who decides upon the karmas, the actions and its result?

Bhagat Ji starts by telling us God exists at a Highest Dimension/Plane everywhere.

In the skies, and in the nether regions of the worlds below us, He dwells on the Highest Dimension/Plane, and is always Present in all the four directions.

“Aakash gaggan pataal gaggan hai chau diss gaggan rahaiyle.”

The Lord is always Supreme, and the Source of all bliss. When the vessel of the body perishes, the Lord  (in His Abode at the Highest Plane), does not perish.

“Anand mool sada Purkhuttam ghat binsay gaggan na jaaiyle.”

I am drenched in wonder; where does the soul come from and where does it go?

“Mohe bairaag bheyo; eh jio aaye kaha gehyo.” (rahao).

The body is made of the union of five elements, but where is the origin of these five elements?; you say the soul is tied to its karma, but who gives karma to the jeev?

“Panch tatt milh kaiyan kinni tatt kaha te keen re; karam badh tum jio kahat ho karme kinn jio deen re.”

Bhagat replies to all these questions by saying the body is contained in, and the Lord is in the body (i.e. God is in our bodies, and everywhere outside too) and He dwells continually deep in the nucleus of all – Nirantar.  (He is the Origin of the jeev, and all tatts and all karmas. In that deep nucleus, He dwells at the Highest Plane too. The Shabad started with “aakash gaggan….,” now Bhagat Ji speaks on a microscopic level. At that level too, He dwells on the Highest Plane).

The Shabad concludes with Bhagat Ji saying he will never abandon Naam of such a Wondrous Lord who does everything with loving ease in His Will.

“Kahe Kabir Raam Naam na chodho sahaje hoye so hoye re.”
