Raag Gauree Bhagat Kabeer (Kabir) Ji.

Bhagat Ji advises a jogi in the first part of the Shabad. Instead of relying on physical signs as the jogis do, one should go deep inwards, rely on Naam which in essence is Nirankar, and be guided by the Satguru.

After advising the jogi, Bhagat Ji says he is a jogi too, a United one. Then Bhagat draws a mind boggling Divine Canvas seen by him in simran.

To the jogi…

Let contemplation and inner meditation be your two ear rings, and deep wisdom be your patched overcoat; in the cave of Divine Silence (not emptiness), sit in your yogic posture (of Union), and let suppression of your desires be your spiritual path.

“Surat simrat doye kanni munda parmitt bahar khintha; sunn gufa me aasan bessan kalap bibrajat pantha.”

Bhagat Ji’s own avastha…

O my King, I am a yogi drenched in Your Love; I do not die or suffer pain or separation.

“Mere Raajan mai bairagee jogi; martt na sogh biyoghi.”(rahao).

As a jogi attached to Nirankar Ji, Bhagat Ji sees…

The solar systems and the galaxies are my yogic horn, (the horn is used by yogis to create a sound they say is anhad vajey.
Bhagat Ji says whatever has been created by “Eka Kavaho” i.e the entire Universe is his yogic horn), while the entire earth is my yogic bag where I carry my bibhuti ashes; in deep meditation, I have been freed from the three shades (of maya) and I am free to move in the vast expanse.

“Khand brahmand me singhi mera batuvaa sabh jagh bhasmadhari; tarhi laagi tripall paltiye chutay hoye pasari.”

(As a jogi I carry a veena/sitar).
My mind and breath are the two gourds of the fiddle (sitar) while time of all ages is it’s frame; the string has become stable and does not break (simran is continuous), while the inner harp resounds with the unstruck melody.

“Mann pavan doye tumba kari hai jug jug sarad sajee; thirr payee tanti tuttas nahi anhad kinguree vajee.”

In the Plane of Divine Silence (sunn), the mind is enraptured and rendered pure, and the waves of maya do not affect it;
Kabir says a bairagee who has played such a play does not come into births again.

“Sunn mann maggan bhey hai puray maya dolh na laagi; kaho Kabir ta jo punrap janam nahi khel geyo bairaagi.”
