Raag Maroo (Maru) M.5

Guru Ji advises all to take to Naam. Failure to do so, results in terrible karmic consequences, and bondages.

I have seen those who forsook Naam being ignobly reduced to dust; the love of children and friends, the pleasures of married life, are all perishable joys.

“Jinni Naam visareya se hote dekhay kheh; putar mittar bilaas banita tutate eh neh.”

O my mind, daily, continually, recite the Name of the Lord; you shall not be scorched in the ocean of fire (this world), and your mind and body shall be blessed with peace.

“Mere mann Naam nit nit leh; jallat nahi aggan saagar sukh mann tann deh.” (rahao).

Like the shade of a tree, these things shall pass away, like the clouds blown away by the wind; Nanak says, meet the holy Saint (Guru), and implant devotional worship to the Lord. This will be of real use to you.

“Birkh chaya jaise binsatt pavan jhulatt meh; Har bhagat mil Sadh Nanak Tere kaam aavat eh.”
