Bhatt Kalasahar Ji has written 10 Swaiyyas in Praise of God and Guru Angad Dev Ji.

This is the 10th (final) Swaiyya.

Singing Praises of Guru Angad Dev Ji, the Bhatt Ji says, when You bestow Your Glance of Grace, You eradicate all wickedness, sin and filth; You have overcome the powerful passions of lust, anger, greed and emotional attachment.

“Amiyh dhrist sobh kare harey aggh paap sakall malh; kaam krodh aur lobh moh vass karey sabhe malh.”

Your mind is filled with eternal Peace and You banish the sufferings of the world forever; the Guru is the River of Nine Treasures, washing off the dirt of our lives.

“Sada Sukh mann vassey dukh sansarey khovay; Gur Nav Nidh Dariayo janam ham kalakh dhovay.”

So speaks Tal the poet (one of the pen names of Kalasahar Ji), serve the Guru (Shabad) day and night, with intuitive love; gazing upon the Blessed Vision of the Guru, the pains of death and rebirth are taken away.

“So kaho Tal Gur seviye ahniss sahaj subhaii; Darshan parsiye Guru ke janam maran dukh jaaiye.”
