A Sikh speaks to God in gratitude.

Amrit Bani comes from You.
“Amrit Bani Har Har teri”

As I listen to this wonderful Bani I get elevated to Supreme Liberation
“Sun sun hovay paramgat meri”

This Bani has soothed me and doused my inner fires and I have been blessed by Darshan of my Satguru.
“Jallan bujhi sittal hoye manuaa Satgur ka Darshan paaye jio”

I am happy and my sorrows have run away.
“Sukh bheya dukh duur pranaa”

The saints chant the Lord’s Name.
“Sant rassan Har Naam vakhanaa”

There is abundance everywhere for all.
“Jall thall neer bhare sar sobhar birtha koi na jaaye jio”

It is really the shower of the Creator’s kindness.
“Dya dharee tin Sirjanhaare”

He cherishes all beings and creatures.
“Jee jantt saglay pritparey”

He is Merciful Kind and Compassionate; all get fulfillment from Him
“Mehrvaan Kirpal Dyala sagley tripat aghaye jio”

He renders green the woods meadows and the three worlds.
“Van trin tribhavan kiton hareaya”

He does all this in an instant.
“Karanhaar khin bhitar karaeya”

As gurmukh (in the Guru’s Sharan), I pray to Him who fulfills all wishes of the mind.
“Gurmukh Nanak tissay aradhay man ki aas pujaaye jio”
