Guru Ji tells us about the blessed ones who subdue their evil passions, and take to Naam with single minded focus.

I am a sacrifice to that one who has bound up his evil perceptions and corrupted gaze; (unlike one) who does not know the difference between good and evil and wanders around aimlessly.

“Dhrist bikaree bandhan bandhe hao tis ke balh jayee; paap punn ki saar na jaane bhula firey ajayee.”

Speak the True (Perfect, Eternal) Name of the Creator; then you shall not have to come again to this world.

“Bolho Sach Naam Kartaar; funh bahurh na aavan vaar.” (rahao).

The Creator tranforms the high into lowly ones, and the lowly into kings; those who know the All Knowing Lord are accepted as Perfect in this world.

“Uchaa te funh neech karat hai neech kare sultan; jinni jaan Sojaniya jag te purey parvaan.”

We would go and explain to someone if he were mistaken. (God knows exactly what He is Doing and makes no mistakes ever); the Creator Himself is Playing out the Drama, very few realize this.

“Ta ko samjahvan jaiyeh je bhula hoyee; Aape khel kare sabh Karta aisa bujhey koyee.”

Meditate on the Shabad in the early hours before dawn, leaving aside all worldy cares; Nanak says, as slave of His slaves (in utter humility), as one lets go of his grip on the world, he wins.

“Naoo parbhatey Shabad dhiayeh chodo duni pareeta; pranvat Nanak dassan dassa jag hariya tinn jeeta.”
