Raag Bilaaval (Bilawal) M.5

A Sikh sings about the Infinite Glories of God.

Whatever needs to be done, You Do. Without You there is nothing; gazing upon Your Glory, the messenger of death leaves and goes away.

“Kita lorhe so kare Tudh bin kich nahi; Partap Tumara dekh ke jamdoot chadh jaahe.”

Salvation come with Your Grace and egotism is eradicated; the Perfect Guru unites you with the All Powerful, Omnipotent Lord.

“Tumri kirpa te chutiye binsay ahangmev; Sarab Kalaa Samrath Prabh Puray Gurdev.” (rahao).

I searched, searched, and searched, and found that without Naam, all else is false (perishable); all comforts of life are found in Sadhsanggat, and God fulfills all desires.

“Khojat khojat khojat Naame bin kurh; jiwan sukh sabh Sadhsanggat Prabh mansa purh.”

Whatever You attach me to, to that I am attached, having burnt all my cleverness; You are pervading and permeating everywhere Lord, Merciful to the lowly/weak.

“Jit jit laavho tit tit lagge siaanap sabh jaali; jat kat Tum Bharpur hoho mere Deen Dyaali.”

The very fortunate ones ask only from You, and they receive (Your Gifts); this is Nanak’s Prayer, Lord may I live, continuously singing Your Praises.

“Sabh kich Tum te maangna vadbhagi paaye; Nanak ki ardas Prabh jeeva Gunn gaaye.”
