Guru Ji advices all Sikhs. Whatever they need is contained within their own body home. God Himself resides there.

“Everything is within the home of the self. There is nothing beyond; one who searches outside, is deluded by misconception; those who receive Gur Parsad and find the Lord within themselves are happy inwardly and outwardly.

“Sabh kich ghar me bahar nahi; bahar tolay so bharam bhulahee; Gur Parsadi jinni antar payaa so antar bahar suhela jio.”

Gently, slowly, drop by drop, the Stream of Amrit Naam trickles down within; the mind drinks it in, hearing and refelecting upon the Shabad; he enjoys bliss and ecstacy day and night and the Lord Sports with him forever.

“Jhim jhim varsey Amrit Dhara; mann piveh sunn Shabad bichaara; anand binodh kare dinn rati sada sada Har kela jio.”

There is union now with the Lord after being separated from Him for so many lifetimes; by the Grace of the Saint (Guru), the dry withered being has now become green and fresh again; there is sublime understanding by meditating upon Naam and the gurmukh has met the Lord.

“Janam janam ka vichariya miliya; Sadh kirpa te sukaa harieya; sumatt paaye Naam dhiaaye gurmukh hoye mela jio.”

Just as waves of water merge seamlessly with each other; so has He merged His Light with the Divine Spark within me; Nanak says the veil of illusion has been cut and there will be no separation ever again.

“Jalh tarang jio jaleh samaeya; tio Joti sang Jote milaeya; kaho Nanak bhram katey kivaada bahurh na hoiye jaula jio.”
