Raag Bilaaval (Bilawal) M.5.
A jeev isteri goes into deep reflection.
I continuously mediate on the Lotus Feet (Bani), of my Lord.
“Charan kamal prabh ke nit dhiavho.”
What inner wisdom will lead me to union with my Beloved?
“Kavan so matt jit Pritam pavho”
She reflects. What blessed destiny will lead me to union with God within me?
“Kavan sajogh milho Prabh apne”
I recite His Name every moment and instant.
“Pal pal nimakh sada Har japne”
The Shabad ends with a plea. Please bless me with this Mercy. That I may never forget You.
“Aisee kirpa karho Prabh merey; Har Nanak bissar na kahu berey”
Bhai Ji further elaborated on 7 December, 2024:
As you take to Naam, you will receive Infinte Blessings. There is however no guarantee that you will Merge or receive His Darshan. That depends entirely upon the Lord, when and where He decides to bestow Darshan.
Darshan is the Ultimate Blessing for a Sikh.
“Tola dhar tolay sukh saggle bin Har Daras sabho hi thora.” (Ang 204).
It does not end there however. As He is Infinite, even after Darshan, He keeps on bestowing more and more Enlightenment. Thus the Brahm Gyani feeds his inner being with more gyan daily.
“Brahm Gyani ka Bhojan Gyan.” (Ang 272).
In this Shabad, a Sikh says Lord, I am committed to Naam. When will You Bless me with Darshan?
“Kavan sajogh milho Prabh apne.”
I recite Your Name every moment, continually.
“Pal pal nimakh sada Har Japne.”
Besides reciting, I do simran daily on Your Charan Kamal (Naam, Shabad).
“Charan Kamal Prabh ke nit dhiavho.”
When will I receive the Divine Wisdom (matt) by which I can Meet You?
“Kavan so matt jit Pritam pavho.”
Although he has not had Darshan yet, the Sikh does not abandon hope. He knows only constant Naam can lead to Merger and Darshan. The Sikh pleads. Please give Your Blessings that I may never ever forget You.
“Aisee Kirpa karo Prabh mere; Har Nanak bissar na kahu bere. ”
The same Advice is given twice by Guru Nanak Dev Ji in Japji Sahib.
“Gura Eik deh bujhayee; sabna jiya ka Eik Dataa so mai vissar na jayee.”
Bhai Ji added on May 22, 2026:
God is always detached from all Creation and He Sits Alone and oversees how mortals and others act.
“Jin upayee rang ravayee betha vekhe vakh Eikela.” (Ang 722).
Although He is always detached, and never takes sides, there occur situations where He notices there is an injustice perpetrated against His child.
He acts swiftly and takes the side of the victim, provided the victim is doing only Naam.
When He takes the side of anyone, He elevates the child, and makes the victim successful at all counts.
“Jin ka pakh kare Tu Suami tin ki upar gall Tudh aani he.” (Ang 1070)
There are rare times when the injustice is so great that He actually descends to save His child. All attacks on His child are reversed.
“Satgur Sharan peye se thaape tin rakhan ko Prabh aavegho; je ko sar sande jan upar fir ulto tisse lagavhego.”
(Ang 1311).
A Sikh who faces such a threatening situation says with full faith, Lord, when I have You on my side, why would I have to fear anyone/anything?
“Ja Tu mere val hai ta kya moshunda.”
