SGGS Ang 695

Raag Dhanaasree – Bhagat Pipa Ji.

Gurbani stresses that the body is fascinating. All that is outside, is contained in the body, albeit in minute form.

God too resides within. Look for Him with the Satguru (Shabad) as your Guide

“Pipa Pranve Param Tatt Hai Satgur Hoye Likhave”

Bhagat Pipa Ji has only one Shabad in SGGS Ji. Bhagat Ji tells us about the human body. It is a Complete, Perfect vehicle and contains everything found in the Universe.

Guru Amardas Ji has also shared that Truth with us.

At Angg 753, Guru Ji says

“kaaiyan andar sabh kich vassey khand mandal patalaa.”

At Angg 1063, Guru Ji says
“Mere Karte eik banatt banayee; eis dehi andar sabh vath payee.”

It is a profound Truth and it is very important to know this. It also means the search for God is within ourselves as He dwells within us.

Bhagat Ji says within the body dwells the Divine Lord, the body is the Temple, the place of pilgrimage and the pilgrim; within the body are the offerings for worship, the fragrant incense, lamps, and flowers.

“Kaieeyo deva kaieeyo deval kaieeyo jangam jatee;

kaieeyo dhoop deep naibedha kaieeyo pujho patee;

Searching through many realms I found the Nine Treasures (Naam) within my body; I now know that nothing comes and nothing goes I declare aloud God’s Glory.

(Bhagat Ji is speaking about matter and energy. It can change form but it cannot be destroyed. The total amount of mass and energy in the Universe is constant according to Lavoisier – 1785)

“Kaiieyan baho khand khojtey nav nidh payee; na kach aayebo na kach jayebo Ram ki duhayee.” (Rahao).

The One who pervades the Universe also resides in the body; whoever seeks Him finds Him; Pipa shares this Supreme Essence (Truth), you can only meet Him through the Satguru (Shabad).

“Jo brahmandey soyee pinday jo khojay so paave; Pipa pranve param tatt hai Satgur hoye lakhaave.”
