Raag Bihagara, Bihagara Ki Vaar M.4

This shabad is pauri no 6 of Bihagara Ki Vaar.

God is Formless – Nirankar. He started all creation. The Gurus have at many places in SGGS Ji said that all that is contained in form is God too.
“Nirgunn Aap Sargunn bhi ohee.” (Ang 287). In sargunn form, creation operates with ego and gets snared by maya. Only with Naam and Gur Parsad, does one realise that God is indeed everything.

This pauri tells us that God Himself is the field, the farmer too, and He Himself grows and grinds the corn; He Himself cooks, puts the food in the dishes, and He Himself sits down to eat.

“Aape dharti Aap hai rahak Aap jaamaye pisaavhe; Aap pakaave Aap bhande de bharosay Aape hi beh khaave.”

He Himself is the water, He Himself gives the toothpick, and He Himself provides the mouthwash; He Himself calls and seats the sanggat, and He Himself bids them goodbye.

“Aape jall Aape de chingga Aape chuli bhravey; Aape sanggat sadh bahaley Aape vidha karaavey.”

(So, the next time you sit in Satsanggat, be grateful that He has brought you there. He is the Real Doer. He allows you to sit in sanggat in His Grace).

On whom He gives His Grace, He makes that person walk according to His Will. (i.e. that fortunate one starts “hukam rajaee chalna” and his free will is taken away. After hukam rajaee chalna, he gets elevated to a higher avastha with His Grace).

“Jis nu Kirpal hovay Har Aape tis nu Hukam manaave.”
