Raag Kalyaan M.5

A Sikh prays for Naam and to be infused with such yearning for God, that he can be blessed with Darshan.

Please grant me this blessing; may the bumble bee of my mind be immersed again and again in the Honey (sweetness) of Your Lotus Feet. (Naam).

“Hamare eh kirpa kijjay; alh makrand charan kamal seyo mann ferr feer rijjay.” (rahao).

I am not concerned with any other waters (“other waters” is metaphor for worldly pleasures), please bless the ever thirsty chatrik (Sikh) with a drop of Your Divine Water (Amrit Naam); Nanak says there is no peace without meeting the Lord. I truly become alive upon gazing at His Blessed Vision.

“Aan jalaa seyo kaaj na kachuve Har boondh chatrik ko dijjay; bin milbay nahi santokha pekh Darshan Nanak jijjay.”
