SGGS Angg 23.
Raag Sri Raag M.1.
God’s Jote is everwhere. At Angg 876 Ramkali M.1, Guru Ji says,
“Sarab Jote Teri pasar rehi; jeh jeh dekha teh Narhari.”
(Your Divine Light is diffused everywhere; wherever I look, I see the Powerful Lord).
In this Shabad too, Guru Ji sees God everywhere, in everything, and describes what is seen.
God is the True Enjoyer, the Relish too, and He Sports with all; He Himself is the Bride in her dress (body), and He Himself is the Bridegroom (Shabad – “Sacha Shabad Bhataar hai sada sada ravey.” Ang 311. Gauri M.3),on the bed (mind, heart).
“Aape Rasiya Aape Rass Aape Ravanhaar; Aape hove cholra Aape sej Bhataar.”
Drenched with Love, my Master is totally pervading and permeating all.
“Rang ratta mera Sahib rev rehiya bharpoor.”(rahao).
He Himself is the fish, and the fisherman. He Himself is the water, and the net; He Himself is the sinker for the fishnet, and He Himself, is the bait.
“Aape machee machulee Aape pani jaal; Aape jaal mankada Aape andar laal.”
O my sister soul brides, my Beloved expresses His Love in many ways; He continually Sports and enjoys the happy soul brides (Saintly ones), look at my plight without Him.”
“Aape baho bidh rangula sakheyay mayraa laal; Nit ravai sohagane daykh hamara haal”
Nanak implores, please listen to my prayer. You are the pool and the swan (soul); You are the lotus flower of the day and the water lily of the night (all time), You Yourself see all and blossom forth in bliss.
“Pranvhey Nanak bentee Tu sarvar Tu hans; kaul Tu hai kavia Tu hai Aape vekh vigass.”
