Raag Ramkali M.3
Anand Sahib
Anggs 917 – 922.
The Divinely Exquisite Anand Sahib.
From pauri no. 1 till 40, Guru Ji traces the inner journey to Union/Darshan.
It starts with the Sikh exclaiming
” … Satguru mai paaiya”. The Satguru is Shabad which has now started lodging in his suratt. As that happens he realises, there are inner unstruct melodies which are helping him Sing the Shabad
“Raag Rattan Parvar Pariya Shabad Gaavan Aaieya”
There is caveat however. The Shabad must be Dhur Ki Bani (Hari Kera) and it must slowly abide (vasaieya) in the mann.
The journey is slow but daily there is some progress. Many pieces of Enlightenment flow in. The Sikh realises he must become pure within and outside (in his conduct).
“Jiaho Nirmal Bahro Nirmal”
Despite the challenges of daily life if he sticks to Shabad in his suratt, he can eradicate his ego and with the Guru’s Grace (inherent in the Shabad), he can Unite despite the vagaries of maya.
“Kahe Nanak Gur Parsadi jinna liv laagi tinne viche maya paaiya”
The journey continues at a higher Plane now. Each organ, eyes, (netro) ears, (sarvano) tongue (rasna) are focused inwards.
The Shabad reaches the Unseen (Gupat) Daswa Dwar where He Resides. The Singing of His Praises through the Shabad (Sohila) is at a Plane of Truth.
( …Sache Ghar Gaavho).
It started with the Shabad in the mann. Now, True Bliss (Anand) has set in. All wishes are fulfilled (sagal manorath puray). God has United the Sikh with Himself
( Parbrahm Prabh Paaiya).
All miseries, pain, pestilence are gone forever from hearing the Bani from within (Dukh Rogh Santaap Utreh Sunhi Sachi Bani). The anhad vajje now Resound within forever. ( Vajhe Anhad Dhuray).
