SGGS Angg 884.

Raag Ramkali M.5.

All of us are created by God. Some, He puts to Naam. In His Will He may decide to make some as His Very Own. He Unites them with Himself and makes them part of His Angg, literally part of Himself. This is called “Angikaar” and is a fantastic blessing upon the Sikh. When He does Angikaar you, all matters are instantly resolved forever, and all internal and external enemies are vanquished.

“Angikaar Kiyo Prabh Apne Bhav Nidh Paar Utare” (Ang 631)

“Angikaar Kiyo Prabh Apne Bhagtan Ki Rakhi Paat” (Ang 681).

“Angikaar Kiya Prabh Apne Dokhi Sagle Bhye Rawaal” (Ang 826)

“Angikaar Kiya Prabh Apne Kadh Liya Bhikh Ghere” (Ang 1214).

In this Shabad, the Sikh says the Lord made me His Own and vanquished all my enemies; those enemies who have plundered the world, have been bound (tied up); the Satgur (Shabad) is God Himself; I enjoy countless joys and delights, chanting Your Name with absolute faith in You.

“Angikaar Kiya Prabh Apne Bairi Saggle Saadhe; Jin Bairi Hai Eh Jag Luteya Te Bairi Leh Bandhe; Satgur Parmeshar Mera Anik Raaj Bhog Rass Maani Naao Jappi Bharvasa Tera” (Rahao).
