This is the Vichaar on the seamless flow of the 24 Astpadhis of Sukhmani Sahib.
As we look deeply into the Bani, we find that each succeeding Astpadhi flows from the earlier one. There is a Divine Thread of Guru Ji’s Teachings which proceeds from Astpadhi no. 1, Simran, to Astpadhi no. 2, Sharan of the Satguru who shares Naam, to Astpadhi no. 3, where all other methods are compared with Naam.

The final pada of Astpadhi no. 4 is couched as a humble Ardas before God. The Sikh surrenders everything to God and says “Jio pind sabh Teri raas,” Sings His Praises, and Pleads for His Grace. “Tumri Kirpa me sukh ghanerey.”

In the final Astpadhi no. 24, God is described as Pura, Naam is also Pura, as is the Satguru.

The sewa of the sewak is also declared Puran, Complete, Perfected.

“Puran hoyi sewak ki sev.”
