SGGS Ang 545

Raag Sorath

Guru Ji says each sin we commit results in a subtle noose around our necks. This cannot be seen by the naked eyes. He operates Unseen as He is Nirankar.

“Nanak augann jethre teteh galli janjeer.”

These noose can be cut by Gunn, Godly Attributes, Naam. As you turn to Him, He gives you Gunn. Japji Sahib tells us, “Nanak nirgun Gunn kare gunvantiyan Gunn deh; Teha koye na sujeiye je Tis Gunn koye kareh.”

Thus, these Gunn are your true relatives “se bhai se veer” and these Gunn (Naam) will cut away all noose.

Then Guru Ji Reveals a Fascinating Truth.
As you go into the hereafter, if you do not have your Guru (Peer) with you, you are thrown out of God’s Darbar. ( …maar kadho Vepeer).

It is most important to be always in Guru Ji (SGGS Ji) Sharan and never be bemukh. If your heart tells you, you are bemukh, it is best to do Charni Lagnaa, become sanmukh and sit at the Guru’s Feet again.

Japji Sahib.

We commit countless sins. If we turn to Him, (Nirankar) through loving prayer He is always Merciful and Salamat (His Sanctuary is always full of Safety and Grace).
