Raag Assa – Ang 463-466 @Damansara Darbar

The Bani is Asa Ki Vaar, not Asa Di Vaar. The Tatkara (Table of Contents) lists it as Asa Ki Vaar. All Vaars take the name of the Raag in which they appear. Like, Sriraag Ki Vaar, Majh Ki Vaar, Gauri Ki Vaar, Suhi Ki Vaar, Ramkali Ki Vaar, Kanre Ki Vaar.

The structure of Asa Ki Vaar, where the (5th) final line of each Pauri is short and is normally repeated in Kirtan.
Asa Ki Vaar has 24 Pauris, and 59 Sloks, 45 by M.1, and 14 by M.2.
