SGGS Angg 1141
Raag Bhairo M.5.
A Sikh has been emancipated. His janam maran has been erased forever. He has Merged into God within himself. At many places in SGGS Ji we are told that the Bhagat becomes His Roop, verily God Himself. Of course this happens with Gur Parsad, and in the most rare cases.
Angg 1252.
“Dass annin Mero Nijh Roop.” My slave becomes My Very Image.
“Joti Jote ralli sampuran thiaa Raam.” (Ang 846).
“Tatt Nirunjan Jote sabayi sohung bhed na koyi Jio.” (Ang 598)
There is no difference in Essence between My Divine Light which Prevades all, and My Saint becomes like Me (Sohung).
“Raam Sant me bhed kich nahi Ek jann keyi me lakh karori.” (Ang 208)
There is no difference between Me and My humble Saint. Out of thousands of millions such a rare Saint appears.
The Enlightened Sikh now says, my Father is Eternal, forever alive.
“Baap hamara sadh charanjeevi.”
My brothers live forever as well.
“Bhai hamare sadh hi jeevi.”
My friends are Imperishable too.
“Meet hamare sada Abhinasi.”
My family abides in a permanent home within myself.
“Kotumb hamara nijh ghar vaasi.”
The Sikh exclaims. I was blessed with peace, and all with me became peaceful too. All this occurred when the Perfect Guru (Shabad) united me with my Eternal Divine Father.
“Ham sukh paiya ta sabhe suhele; Gur Puray Pita sang melhe.” (Rahao).
Now, I reside in the loftiest mansions (avastha); my countries are Infinite and Uncountable.
“Mandar mere sabh te uchhe; des mere beantt appoche.”(As one Merges with God, he becomes just like God, and whatever belongs to God, belongs to him too).
My Kingdom is Eternally Stable; my wealth is inexhaustible and permanent.”
“Raaj hamara sadh hi nichal; maal hamara akhoot abechal.”
My reputation is glorious throughout the ages; my fame is spread in all spaces and interspaces.
“Sobha meri sabh jugh antar; baaj hamari thaan thanatar.”
My Praises are sung in every home; my devotional worship is known to all people.
“Kirat hamri ghar ghar hoyi; Bhagat hamari sabni loyi.”
My Father has manifested Himself within me; Father and son are joined in True Union.
“Pita hamare pargateh majh; Pita poot rall kinni saanjh.”
Nanak says, when my Father was Pleased; Father and son were enveloped in One Love.
“Kaho Nanak jao Pita patineh; Pita poot Ekay Rang Linne.”
Shabad Veechar by Bhai Manjeet Singh Ji.
