SGGS Angg 98-99.
Raag Majh M.5.
Meditation on Naam is always blissful. Naam is a gift from the Benevolent Lord.
“Simrat Naam sada suhela jis devay deen dyala jio”
Miseries abound when you forget the Lord.
“Dukh tadey ja vissay jaave”
Hunger afflicts them and they wander in all directions (looking for relief).
“Bhukh viaapey bahu bidh dhaave”
Only Naam can give you relief.
The Satguru is All Powerful.
“Satgur mera vadh samratha”
As I enshrined Him in my heart all my sorrows departed.
“Jee samalee ta sabh dukh lathaa”
He cured me of all anxieties and the disease of ego: He Himself cherishes me.
“Chinta rogh gayee hao peeda aap kare pritpalaa jio”
Bhai Ji further elaborated on May 6, 2026:
I am like a child. I ask for everything; He is always Loving and there is nothing lacking in His Gifts.
“Barik vaangi hao sabh kich mangga: dendhe tote nahi Prabh Rangga.”
It was not easy to win His Love. I had to continuously fall at His Feet. He is Merciful to the weak, the Sustainer of all.
“Pairi peh peh bahut manaaiye Deen Dyal Gopala Jio.”
I am Eternally grateful to my Perfect Satgur; He cut off all my bonds; He enshrined the Blessed Name in my heart and Purified me; Nanak says His Love has put me in inner joy and ecstacy.
“Hao balihari Satgur Puray; Jin bandhan kaate saggle mere; hirday Naam deh nirmal kiye Nanak Rang Rasala Jio.”
Sidh Gosht is Guru Nanak Dev Ji’s bani starting from SGGS Ang 938. It is a very mystical bani where it involves dialogues between Guru Ji, sidhs and yogi’s.
Bhai Ji further added on even date:
A Sikh speaks about his journey. His troubles started when he forgot God.
” Dukh tadhe ja vissar jaave”
It was a long, humiliating journey to get His Grace again.
“Pairi peh peh bahut manaaiye..”
Slowly the Love of Naam/Bani was infused in me and my heart was cleansed. I now have been blessed with inner joy and ecstacy.
