The word “wah” is an exclamation of wonder when you are touched by something special you see or hear or feel.

When a gurmukh sees the Workings of the Lord in all creation he invariably says “wah”.
The gurmukhs say “wah” to the Divine wisdom of Bani and the enlightenment they receive from the Guru.
A gurmukh expresses “wah”, astonishment at God’s splendour.

In this Slok Guru Amardas Ji speaks about the gurmukhs who express “wah” from various aspects.

Those humble Sikhs who express “wah” “wah” are really beautiful ones. The world venerates and adores such sensitised  persons.

“Wah wah kare seyi jan sohne tin ko parjaa pujann aaye”

Adoring God through the Shabad, the tongue is blessed.
“Wah wah karti rasna Shabad suhayee”

It is through the Perfect Shabad (of the Guru), that the Lord meets you.

“Purey Shabad Prabh miliya aaye”
