Guru Ramdas Ji’s in the first Shabad in Raag Tukhari SGGS Ang 1113-1117 tells us that we must have love and yearning for God, but it is a pointless exercise without Guru’s Shabad. In the last Shabad in this session, Guru Ji traces and shares with us the journey of Guru Amardas Ji who went on tirath yatra, but this yatra was to spread Guru Nanak’s teachings. Guru Ji, then known as Bhai Jetha Ji followed Guru Amardas Ji on the yatra. This Shabad tells us that SGGS is also a source of history, and this was shared by Bhai Manjeet Singh Ji on Sunday at Titiwangsa, 23rd April, 2017.
