Raag Parbhati – Ang 1335-1339 @Titiwangsa

Guru Arjun Dev Ji in the first Shabad in this series of Raag Parbhati SGGS Ang 1335-1339 says that raas, is an internal wonderful experience that we get inside us. In other Shabads, Guru Ji talks about the gurmukhs who look for God inside them versus the manmukhs who look for God outside and waste their time. Guru Ji also describes the avasta of the Sikh when God grants His grace and now the Sikh jaaps Naam. Guru Ji says God can only be found with the grace of SatGuru Ji and our focus in this life is to unite with God, so we have rise above everything else, family, etc, and unite with Him. Guru Ramdas Ji in Parbhati partaal says that Naam is the true treasure which gives us dignity and honor in God’s court. This is followed by Guru Arjun Dev Ji’s Shabad as Guru Ji stresses the need to live in shukrana- gratitude to God. Guru Ji says sewa to God brings infinite blessings, dignity and glory. In other Shabads, a Sikh recounts his journey that leads him to union with God, and a Sikh who gets Gurparsad now inspires others to also pray.
