Guru Amardas Ji in the first Shabad in this series of Shabads in Raag Parbhati SGGS Ang 1332-1335 gives general advice about Shabad and Naam. In the next Shabad, Guru Ji teaches us how to do Ardas. Our commitment should only be to God and Guru Ji and there must be commitment that you want liberation from Him only. Guru Ji also tells us in the next Shabad how to go to Waheguru’s sharan. Always attach yourself to Guru’s sharan and get Guru’s maat. God is the real doer and all creation with its infinite colors is His. We must always be grateful to the Guru, grateful for the Shabad given to us. In the next Shabad, Guru Ramdas Ji says we should sign God’s praises with joy and in His sharan.
