Bhagat Namdev Ji’s Shabad from Raag Ramkali.

Bhagat Ji goes deep into simran and sees the jeev atma resting with God. This is Pre Creation, God’s State of Sunn Samadh.

Bhagat Ji poses a question. When there was no mother, father, lekhas of karmas, nor any human body; I was not here, nor you either, then who is this jeev (kavan), and where did he come from?

“Maee na hoti baap na hota karam na hoti kaaiyan; ham nahi hote tum nahi hote Kavan kaha te aaiya.”

Lord Raam Ji, none belong to any other; in Truth all are like birds perched temporarily upon a tree.

“Raam koye na kis hi kera; Jaise tarvar pankh bassera” (Rahao).

When there was no moon or sun, nor water blended with air (my interpretation here is different from the Internet. Bhagat Ji is speaking of the Pre Creation State); there were then no Shastras nor Vedas, and where would there be any karmas?

“Chand na hota Sur na hota paani pavan milaiya; Sasat na hota Bedh na hota karam kaha te aaiya.”

Bhagat Ji says, all the yogic methods to gain Enlightenment are found in Gur Parsad (i.e. if you want Enlightenment about the origins of Creation, only the Guru’s Grace can Enlighten you)

“Controlling of the breath (khechar), focusing on the Void (bhuchar), doing Jap with a Tulsi mala, all these are futile. He is found only by Gur Parsad.

“Khechar bhuchar tulsi mala Gur Parsadi paaiya.”

Namdev Ji says, I share the Essence (Param Tatt) of Divine Wisdom. Only the Satguru (Shabad), can lead you to Darshan.

“Nama Pranvhe Param Tatt Hai Satgur Hoye Lakhaiya.”
