SGGS Angg 194.
Raag Gauree (Gauri) M.5.
Guru Ji advices us to recite His Naam thousands of times.
“Uchrho Raam Naam lakh baari”
As you recite His Name you drink amrit rass from within.
“Amrit rass pivho Prabh pyari”
As you remember Him fondly in simran, your sufferings are eradicated.
“Har simrat sabh mittay kalesh”.
And His Charan Kamal (Bani), gets enshrined in the mind.
“Charan Kamal man me parvesh”.
Peace, bliss now seeps into you.
“Sukh sahaj rass maha ananda”
All this because you are now truly alive by reciting the Name of the Lord of Supreme Bliss.
“Jap jap jivay Parmanada”.
Your inner being gets cleansed.
“Kaam krodh lobh madh khoye”
As you do sadh sanggat all your sins are eradicated.
“Sadh ke sang kilbikh sabh dhoye”
The Shabad ends with a plea for His grace; may I ever reside in humility at the Feet of the Sadh (Guru).
“Kar kirpa Prabh deen dyala: Nanak dijjay Sadh ravalaa”.

Bhai Ji added on October 10, 2026:
Reciting His Name is of utmost importance.
As you do your daily chores, silently keep on Reciting “Waheguru Waheguru”, Mool Mantar, or any line or Shabad from SGGS Ji.
This Shabad Guru will stand by you at the very end where accounts are to be taken. No one else goes there with you. None of the so called Brahmgyanis from Nanaksar, Jagraon, Beas, Patiala, Harike or other deras have any access there.
Guru Ji clearly says, (Ang 1280)
“Othe Hath Na Uprhe Kook Na Suniye Pukaar”
No one can reach there and his cries will not be heard by anyone.
“Othe Satgur Beli Hovay Kadh Lehe Anti Vaar”
There, the Shabad Guru will be your Protector and Save you at the final moments.
Guru Ji concludes by saying it is pointless serving all these created beings. They should only serve the Shabad Guru and God Himself.
“Ehna Janta Nu Hor Sewa Nahi Satgur Sir Kartar”
