Raag Bilaaval

Bilawal Bhagat Namdev Ji

By ourselves we cannot do anything. As you surrender to your Guru, (Shabad Guru), He transforms you and gives you a fruitful life. In such an instance Bhagat Ji says,
The Guru has made my life fruitful; He has banished pain and given me inner peace.

“Safal janam mo ko Gur kèena; dukh bisaar sukh antar leena.”

The Guru gave me Enlightenment; I now find that without Raam Naam my life was wretched.

“Gyan anjjan mo ko Gur deena; Raam Naam bin jiwan mann heena.”

Namdev Ji says, I found (understood, realized) the Lord through deep meditation; my soul has blended with the Lord, the Life Force of the world.

“Namdeh simran kar jaana; Jagjiwan seyo jio samaana.”
