This Shabad is the 5th pada of Guru Ramdas Ji’s Astpadhi.
The Bani (in SGGS Ji) is in truth the Guru, and the True Form of the Guru is Bani. Within this Bani, all Ambrosial Nectar is found (i.e. the Bani is Perfect, Complete and Pure); as the humble servant believes the Bani (Shabad), the Guru manifests and emancipates him.
“Bani Guru Guru hai Bani vich Bani Amrit sarey; Gurbani kahe sewak jann maane partakh Guru nistarey.”
