Every word and line in Gurbani is from Dhur, and is Perfect. Bani is Nirankar Ji, Himself.

Bani says for many incarnations you were a worm and an insect; in many incarnations, you were an elephant, a fish and a deer.

“Kayèe janam bhaye keet patanga; kayee janam gajj meen korunga.”

In many incarnations you were a bird and a snake; in many incarnations you were yoked as an ox and a horse.

“Kayee janam pankhi sarapp hoyo; kayee janam haaivar birakh joiyo.”

This is the time to Meet the Creator Lord [do not lose out on this chance]. After a very long journey on earth, you have been gifted with this human body.

“Mil Jagdees millan ki barriya; chirangkaal eh deh sanjariya.”

This human body is a marvel of construction. You have to travel inwards with the Shabad Guru, who will show you your past lives, and much much more.

Do not boast about what you are shown. The warning is,

“Taanh kiya gallan kathiyan na jaaye” If you are defiant and blubber about what the Guru (Shabad) shows you, you will regret later (will be punished).
” Je ko kahe piche pechataaye.”
(Japji Sahib).
