Raag Majh M.5. Barah Maha
The Shabad is on the month of Maghar. It is the 9th month of the Indian calendar.
In each month there is some spiritual progress made by the jeev isteri. By the 9th month she is shown as regularly attending sadhsangat.
Such jeev isteris who sit with their Husband Lord (in sadhsangat) look beautiful.
“Manghar mahe suhendiya Har Pir sang baithrhiyan”
Those who have been blended by the Master with Himself, how can their glory ever be measured.
“Tin ki sobha kya ganni jo Sahib melrihyan”
Such jeev isteris blossom forth with the Lord and have the companionship of Saints (Guru).
“Tan man mauliya Ram seyo sang sadh sahelrihyan”
But those who lack the company of the Holy, remain all alone.
“Sadh janna te bahri se rehan ekelrihyan”
Their pain never departs and they fall into the grip of the Messenger of death and miseries.
“Tin dukh na kabhu utray se jam ke vass pariyah”
