SGGS Angg 966/7.
Ramkali Ki Vaar Rae Balwand thatha Satte Doom Akhi.
This Vaar has 8 padas and speaks of the Foundation and the Glory of the Divine House of Guru Nanak Dev Ji. The Vaar traces the Majesty emanating from Guru Nanak Dev Ji, succeeded by Guru Angad Dev Ji, to Guru Amardas Ji, Guru Ramdas Ji and Guru Arjun Dev Ji.
The language used is highly intricate. It is Punjabi mixed liberally with Doom (Mirasi) Boli.
The Vaar confirms that each succeeding Guru had the same Jote as Guru Nanak Dev Ji, and the same Jugati (way of living and interacting with the Sanggat) too. Only the physical bodies of the Spiritual Kings had been changed.
“Jote oha jugat sahe Seh kaiyan fer paltiye.”
The modern so called vidhvaans say Guru Nanak Dev Ji never set up a religion. He just shared some Revelations. If Guru Ji did not set up a new religion, then why would He pass on Gurgaddi to succeeding Gurus?. Guru Ji clearly set up a new religion (Sikhi) and laid the ground rules for the new religion, which were fine tuned and elaborated upon by all succeeding Gurus till Guru Gobind Singh Ji. The 10th Guru finalised events by ensuring there would be no more Satgurus in human form. The “Dasan Patshahian Di Jote” was Placed by Guru Gobind Singh Ji into Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji (and in no other Granth), to rest Eternally therein.
We are indeed uniquely blessed to be in the Sharan of SGGS Ji, Shabad Guru Ji who is Jugo Jug Atal.
Th is the 5th Pada (out of 8) of the Vaar. This Pada Sings the Praises of Guru Angad Dev Ji, the son of Bhai Pheru (Pheruaan – aan means son of). Guru Ji set up Gurgaddi at Khadur Sahib.

Then, the True Guru, the son of Pheru, came to dwell at Khadoor.
Meditation, austerities and self-discipline rest with You, while the others are filled with excessive pride.
Greed ruins mankind, like the green algae in the water.
In the Guru’s Court, the Divine Light shines in its creative power.
You are the cooling peace, whose depth cannot be found.
You are overflowing with the nine treasures, and the treasure of the Naam, the Name of the Lord.
Whoever slanders You will be totally ruined and destroyed.
People of the world can see only what is near at hand, but You can see far beyond.
Then the True Guru, the son of Pheru, came to dwell at Khadoor. ||5||
