Raag Tukhari M.5
This Shantt has 4 padas. This is the 1st pada. The jeev isteri is in a state of bairaag, yearning for Darshan. She pleads.
O my Beloved, I have through my Guru (Shabad), surrendered my mind to You; hearing Your Shabad, my mind is drenched (with love); my mind is joyously enraptured like the fish in the waters, and is lovingly attached to the Lord.
“Ghol ghumayee Laalna Gur mann deena; sunn Shabad Tumara mera man bhinaa; eh mann bhinaa jio jal meena lagaa rang Muraraa.”
Your worth cannot be described, and Your Mansion (Daswa Dwar) is Incomparable and Unrivalled; O Lord, Giver of all Virtues, please listen to the prayer of this lowly one; please bless Nanak with Your Blessed Vision. My soul is a sacrifice unto You.
“keemat kahi na jayee Thakur Tera Mahal apaara; saggal gunna ke Datey Suami binho sunho eik deena; deho daras Nanak baliharee jiarha balh balh keena.”
