Raag Bihagara (Bihagda) M.5
A Sikh pleads to be attached to Naam, and for Darshan. The Shantt has 4 padas. This is the 1st pada.
The Saints search earnestly for the Lord, He is the Support of the very breath of life; their bodies lose their vitality and strength, if they do not meet the Beloved Lord.
“khojat Sant firay Prabh pran adharey Raam; taan tan kheen bheya bin milat Pyare Raam.”
Lord, bestow Your kindness upon me, attach me with the Hem of Your Robe (Naam) and merge me with You; bless me with Your Name so I may chant it, and beholding Your Vision, that I may truly live.
“Prabh milho Pyare mehya dharey kar dya larh laaye lijiye; deh Naam Apna japho Suami Har daras pekhay jijiye.”
You are All Powerful, Perfect, Always Unchanging and Eternal, Exalted, Unapproachable (by physical devices, except by Your Grace) and Infinite; prays Nanak, bestow Your Mercy upon me, Beloved of my soul, that I may merge into You.
“Samrath Puran Sada Nichall Uchh Aggam Aparey; binwant Nanak dhar kirpa milho Pran Pyare.”
