Raag Bilaaval (Bilawal) M.5
This Shantt has 4 padas. This is the 1st pada. A Sikh expresses joy of being with God.
By blessed destiny I met my Husband Lord; the Unstruck sound currents resound in the Court of the Lord.
“Bhaag sulakhna Har Kant hamara Raam; anhad bajitra tis dhun Darbara Raam.”
Daily the sounds of Divine ecstacy resound, day and night I am enraptured; there (at that avastha), disease, sorrow and suffering do not afflict anyone, neither is there any birth or death.
“Anand andinn vejey vajey dinnas rein umahaa; teh rogh sogh neh dukh biapey janam maran na tahaa.”
There are treasures overflowing there, wealth, miraculous powers, ambrosial nectar and devotional worship; Nanak humbly declares I am a sacrifice, devoted to the Supreme Lord, the Support of my breath of life.
“Ridh sidh sudha rass amrit bhagat bharey bhandaraa; binvantt Nanak balihaar vanjaa Parbrahm pran adharaa.”
