SGGS Ang 1003

Raag Maroo M.5

God is Formless- Nirankar.

Gurbani says He decided to create Creation by One Divine Mystical Sound.

“Eik Kavavhe Te Sabh hova.” (Ang 1003).

To Understand the Creator, we need a Satguru to give us Enlightenment.

“Karnehara Bujho Re; Satgur Milhe Ta Sujhe Re.”

This awareness of being alive, this consciousness is known as suratt.

His Jote is in every pore of the Universe. It is Unseen, as it is Nirankar Ji, Himself.

His suratt is in all created animate beings, birds, trees, cows, fish, all mortals.

“Eka suratt Jete Hai Jee”

None is without this suratt.

“Suratt Vihoona Koye na Kee.”

Each being has a degree of awareness, and they operate in the physical world according to the level of suratt bestowed upon them.

“Jehi Suratt Teha Tin Rah.”

Every act done by any living being with suratt has lekha which results in their coming and going.

“Lekha Eiko Aavho Jah.” (Ang 25).

The sum total of all Creation, Nature, is known as Kudrat. No one can ever place a value on His Kudrat, His World Play of all Creation. It is Priceless.

“Kudrat Hai Keemat Nahi Paaiye.” (Ang 84).

If by some miraculous means the value of His Kudrat could be found, it would be so overwhelming that it could never be expressed/described.

“Ja Keemat Paaiye Ta Kehi Na Jaaiye.” (Ang 84).

The suratt of the Eagle is wired by the Creator in His Own Wonderous Way. It’s ability to zoom home, connect with the magnetic field of the Earth (which is alive itself), is all designed by the Creator and put in the suratt of the Eagle. How Fascinating. Science calls it instinct. Gurbani says it is suratt put in by the Creator.

In Japji Sahib, Guru Nanak Dev Ji expresses His awe at this whole Play of the Lord’s Kudrat.

What can I say about His Kudrat?

“Kudrat Kavan Kaha Vichaar”

I cannot adequately express my fascination even once with Your Wonderous Creation

“Vaariyan Na Jaava Eik Vaar.”

In all humility I lovingly accept Your Will, as whatever You Do is Perfect.

“Jo Tudh Bhaave Sayee Bhali Kaar”

In all this Kudrat, Lord, You Operate Unseen, yet, every Act of Yours is always Safe and Gracious.

“To Sada Salamat Nirankar.”
