Raag Bilaaval (Bilawal) M.5
A Sikh sings in gratitude. He says his sewa of the Satguru brings him Infinite blessings.
Lord, I perform sewa of Your servant (Satguru), and wipe His Feet with my hair; I offer my head to Him, and listen to Your Glorious Praises, the Source of all Bliss.
“Tehal karo Tere dass ki pagg charo baal; mastak apna bhet deo gunn sunho rasaal.”
Meeting You my mind gets rejuvenated. Please meet me Lord. Night and day my mind enjoys bliss, reflecting upon You, Lord of all Compassion;
Tum miltay mera mann jiyo Tum milho Dyaal; Niss basar mann anand hoth chitvat Kirpaal.” (rahao).
God’s Holy Saints are Saviors of the world, and I hold tight to the hem of their robes; bless me O God with the gift of the dust of Your Saints (humility).
“Jagat udharan Sadh pagg tin laago paal; mo ko kijjay daan Prabh Santan pagg raal.”
I have no skill or wisdom at all nor any good deeds to my credit; please protect me from delusions, fears, and emotional attachment and cut away the noose of death.
“Ukatt sianap kach nahi nahi kach ghaaal; bhram bhay rakho moh te katho jamm jaal.”
I beg of You, O Lord of Mercy, O my Father, please cherish me; Nanak says, I sing Your Praises, in the Sadhsanggat O Treasure of Peace.
“Binho karo Karunapatey Pita Pritpaal; Gunn gavho Tere Sadh sang Nanak sukh saal.”
